Tac MTN Suppressor CoverUpdated 22 days ago

The FHF Gear Tac MTN Suppressor Cover is designed to protect both your suppressor and your shooting experience. If you run a suppressor, you know it’s a serious investment—and with that comes challenges like extreme heat and optic mirage. Our suppressor cover is built for the hunter, offering three key benefits:

  • Suppressor Protection – Shields your suppressor from dings, scratches, and the elements.
  • Heat Mitigation – Protects you from accidental burns caused by a hot suppressor.
  • Mirage Reduction – Eliminates heat distortion in your optic’s sight picture for a clear, accurate shot.

At the core of the Tac MTN Suppressor Cover is a high-performance fire sleeve material, rated for continuous use up to 500°F and short-term use up to 800°F. This material effectively reduces mirage while providing heat protection.

The cover fits suppressors with a diameter between 1.4" and 1.6" and is available in 6-inch and 7-inch lengths.

For added durability and a streamlined fit, the outer layer is constructed from rugged Cordura® fabric, secured with one-wrap Velcro for a low-profile, secure attachment.

The Tac MTN Suppressor Cover also features:

  • Anti-Migration Loop – Keeps the cover securely in place during extended use.
  • Removable Neoprene Debris Cover – Prevents dirt and debris from entering your suppressor when moving through thick brush. The debris cover can be left attached or quickly removed before firing.

Tac MTN Suppressor Cover Setup Instructions

Installing the Tac MTN Suppressor Cover

  1. Prepare Your Suppressor – Ensure your suppressor is clean and free of debris before installation.
  2. Slide on the Fire Sleeve – Fit the fire-resistant inner sleeve over your suppressor. It should be snug but not overly tight.
  3. Secure the Cordura Outer Cover – Wrap the Cordura cover around the fire sleeve and fasten it using the one-wrap Velcro for a secure fit.
  4. Adjust the Anti-Migration Loop – Ensure the loop is properly in place to prevent the cover from shifting during use.

Attaching the Neoprene Debris Cover

  1. Align the Cover – Position the neoprene debris cover over the suppressor opening.
  2. Secure the Attachment Points – Attach the cover to the built-in loops on the suppressor cover.
  3. Check the Pull Tab Orientation – The pull tab should be oriented upward, ensuring it’s visible through your optic as a reminder to remove it before firing.

Before heading into the field, do a final fit check to ensure the cover is secure and properly aligned.
