My packages was marked as delivered, but I didn't receive it?Updated a month ago

This is becoming an increasingly more common problem with carriers in today's day and age, and is something we see here at FHF Gear quite often. Rest assured that FHF Gear will always ensure your gear is delivered to you subsequent to each purchase that you make!

That said, it's important to know the facts around why packages may be marked delivered when in reality they haven't been, and what you can do as a consumer to ensure you do receive your package if you do happen to encounter this issue.

Why packages are sometimes marked delivered, though are actually still in transit to you.

Though the tracking information provided by FHF Gear on behalf of the carriers that we use to ship our product is far more advanced and far more accurate than ever before, unfortunately it isn't always "spot on". A variety of errors can occur on behalf of the carrier that can cause tracking inaccuracies, including tracking scan errors, delivery location discrepancies, and system glitches.

It's unfortunate, but considering the volume of packages that USPS, UPS, and FedEx process on a daily basis, it's understandably inevitable. That said, if your package has been marked delivered via your tracking information and you have not received it, we've outlined a few troubleshooting tips for you below!

What do I do when my package was marked as delivered, but I haven't received it?

1. Check all possible delivery locations pertinent to your delivery address.

Just because your tracking information indicates that your package was delivered to a "mailbox" or "front porch" doesn't necessarily mean it will be precisely where you would expect. Check all potential delivery locations at your address; your front door, back door, driveway, porch, mailbox, etc. Often packages are delivered by individuals different from your "normal" delivery person, and thus your package may be left in a location you are typically unfamiliar with.

2. Check with all individuals that may have had access to your delivery location to see if they may have received/moved your package.

This is a common occurrence, especially when packages are delivered to larger households or businesses. Often a package will be delivered by a carrier, but received by someone other than yourself and placed in a "safe" location for your retrieval later on. Though obviously a kind gesture, it can cause confusion when the receiving party doesn't communicate that your package has been stored away for safe keeping.

3. Connect with neighbors or potential nearby delivery locations.

It's possible that in error a carrier may simply have delivered your package to the wrong delivery location--an especially common issue when carriers are tasked with delivering to new addresses (new homes/businesses/apartment complexes/etc). Attempt to confirm that your neighbors did not receive your package. Here at FHF Gear, we believe that most people are in fact great individuals--it's highly unlikely that your neighbors will withhold a package from you if it was delivered to them in error.

4. Reach out to the respective carrier.

When all else fails and you are unable to locate your package, it's always a good idea to connect with the carrier that was tasked with delivering your package to you. They may be able to lend insight as to whether or not a system error caused your package to be marked as delivered when it's still actually in transit to you, where your package may actually be, or whether or not it will arrive soon. If nothing else, they will be willing to help you launch an investigation into your missing package, and may potentially help you file a shipping claim if they feel your package is in fact lost.
