My package was delivered late. Am I eligible to receive a refund?Updated a month ago
Shipping delays are an unfortunate, but inevitable part of purchasing products that will need to be transited to you by a carrier. When delays occur, these often come as a result of carrier error, system glitches, or influxes in overall shipment volume processed by our warehouse and the carriers trusted with delivering packages to you.
Though FHF Gear will always ensure that your shipments are delivered, unfortunately we cannot guarantee shipment delivery timeframes for a variety of factors. It's also important to note that shipment timeframes vary dependent on the size of your package, the shipment method selected at checkout, the distance of your delivery location from our warehouse location (West Valley City, Utah), and the date that your order was placed.
Please review the information below to determine whether or not FHF Gear may potentially be willing to assume the cost of your shipment if you do experience a delay in the delivery of your package.
Shipping Details/Policy:
- We do not ship orders on Saturday or Sunday. Orders taken on Fridays will ship the following week.
- Neither FedEx UPS, or USPS guarantees transit over the weekend.
- USPS does not actually guarantee delivery within two days for USPS Priority 2-Day shipping.
- Orders placed with expedited shipping must be placed by 12pm MT for same-day shipment. Delivery times exclude Saturday and Sunday.
- Expedited shipping options are not available for all locations, and expedited options for AK & HI are limited to 2nd Day Air, Next Day Air, or USPS Priority Mail.
- Orders are typically processed and shipped within 24-48 hours (two business days) of being placed. During promotional periods and times of high order volume, shipping times are likely to increase. Processing/shipping times are not guaranteed, including expedited shipping methods.
- Holidays may impact the overall transit timeframe of all carrier shipments, and may result in delays.
- Shipping information can take up to 72 hours to register in the carrier’s website after you receive a tracking number
- Please note that international orders can be delayed in customs, and in some cases, may take up to 24 business days to be delivered. Please refer to your tracking number for delivery status.
- If using a freight forwarder, MeatEater Inc. is not responsible for packages that are lost in transit, returned to sender, or delays in transit time. MeatEater Inc. is not responsible for covering additional shipping or freight fees. Refunds for returned packages will not be issued until return delivery has been confirmed by our distribution center.
