Getting Started
When you receive your chest rig, it’ll come empty, giving you the freedom to customize it for your needs. The inside is lined with loop Velcro and includes a couple of built-in pockets, making it easy to attach accessories and kits like our waterfowl, fishing, turkey, or tactical setups. You can also add standalone pieces to build it out exactly how you want.
Fitting the Rig
- Adjust the Shoulder Harness – The airframe shoulder harness is ultra-breathable and low-profile, designed for all-day comfort. Adjust the straps so the rig sits high and snug on your chest.
- Fine-Tune for Comfort – The air mesh backing enhances breathability and features a six-inch-wide pocket plus two side slip pockets—perfect for pens or small tools.
- Use the Net Catch Loop – If you’re fishing, the loop on the back is great for hanging a wading net.
Setting Up the Exterior
- MOLLE Attachments (Front & Bottom): Full-width MOLLE webbing allows for easy customization. You can attach accessories like the E3 pouch, shot shell holder, or general-purpose pouches.
- Wing Attachments (Optional): The wing attachment points on the back provide extra stability for mounting MOLLE pouches. If you purchase the wings, they come as a set, and you can use one or both.
- Magnetic Tool Holder: Located at the bottom for quick access—ideal for forceps or fishing tools.
- Grimlock Attachment Points: Found on both sides for hanging gloves, radios, or carabiners.
- Lanyard Sleeves: If you’re fishing, you can clip a coiled lanyard to the loop up top and thread it through the side sleeves to prevent tangling.
Organizing the Interior
- Dual-Entry Zipper: Opens wide without spilling the contents.
- Storage Pockets:
- Full-width zippered pocket for valuables like phones.
- Sleeve pocket for larger items like fly boxes.
- Two small back pockets for leaders, lens cloths, or other small essentials.
